I'm a bit late getting going with the 23 Things programme so I was really interested to look at the blogs which other colleagues had already created and was impressed by how professional they were startng to look. "Library boy" immediately attracted my attention - might have known it would be Ant's blog!
I was surprised, never having set a blog up before, that it was fairly straightforward. The hardest element was the naming part. Definitely need to think about how to improve the appearance/structure though once I've got this posted and have completed thing 3.
Although slightly cynical about web 2.0 developments (does more communication necessarily mean better communication?) I definitely hope to be proved wrong and to be bowled over during the next few weeks as to the potential, both for work and personal use. The data in the introductory blogger video was certainly convincing. I look forward not only to seeing how we all get on individually but how we'll use and embed our new skills into our work.
